Your Next Chapter Awaits...

YOU'RE, STORY ISN'T OVER

My name is Deñayna Collins, a divorcée and mom with firsthand experience of healing after heartache. In 2019, my life was turned upside down when my worst fear had came upon me...divorce! The thing I dreaded most, was becoming my reality.

Facing divorce as a single mother felt like the world crashing down around me. It was undoubtedly a fearful and uncertain time, but little did I know that through this darkness, seeds of healing and growth were waiting to be planted.

I found myself asking, God WHY? Why was I going through a divorce? Why was this happening now? Am I not enough? Why can't I fix it? You see as little girls, society has many of us women believing we are defined by our titles and motherhood. That a failing marriage and becoming a single mom is the start of a failing life. So as my world came crashing down, as I found myself at my lowest points, God was doing a new work in me.

In the midst of my pain, I found solace and strength in my relationship with

Christ. It started out with many questions and doubts. I could not understand

how God would allow such heartache and pain to take place. How he could

allow my biggest fear to happen when I did the “Christian thing” of going to church every Sunday, paid my tithes, and was raising my children in the church. As I leaned into my faith, I began to experience a deep sense of peace and understanding. With every prayer and moment of surrender, I discovered the power of divine love to mend what was broken.

My healing wasn't limited to the spirit alone. As God began working in me, I turned my attention to my overall wellness—mind, body, and soul. In embracing the fullness of my well-being, I began to engage in practices that nurtured and rejuvenated me. From adopting a healthy lifestyle and exercising to exploring various practices of self-care and self-love, I saw the transformative power of holistic wellness in my life.

Along this path, I also confronted the expectations placed on me as a strong black woman. Society often portrays black women as unbreakable pillars of strength, but the truth is, we carry burdens and fears just like anyone else. The facade of strength can be both physically and emotionally detrimental, exerting pressure on our well-being to always strive for perfection. Through unmasking and challenging this archetype,I realized how I defined my worth and identity was wrapped in the titles society taught us to hold as the bar of excellence. That this archetype was deeply woven into the fiber in many women of color creating falsities that embedded themselves in our lives in more ways than we could imagine including the idea of the “good girl”.

He was stripping me...

of the titles society taught me to hold near and dear to my heart so that I could walk into my purpose. In order to do that, I needed to be gracefully broken. I needed to experience the very thing he would have me helping women heal from and that required my full attention and a testimony. You see, like many women, I entered my marriage broken and needed to be made

whole.

Through my journey, I have been able to navigate the complexities of life, learn to embrace my vulnerabilities, and heal from the wounds that have held me back.  I invite you to join me in discovering the power of unmasking, learning your true worth and identity as you become the H.E.R (healed, empowered, and renewed) you were created to be.

It’s time to embrace your worth and walk boldly into your healing journey and take back your power!

About My Story. . .

HERES A BIT MORE

Deñayna Collins is a Mom of two boys, an Educator, a Wellness Coach, and a Mompreneur. After experiencing a life-altering event, I was forced to dig deep and evaluate who I was as an individual and in the Kingdom of God. I found myself questioning everything about who I was and even my relationship with God as I grew in the church and attended regularly as an adult. However,  It was through my journey of navigating life as a divorcé that God began to reveal himself and the works he desired of me in his Kingdom.

Through my journey of healing, I found my purpose. It began with the birthing of my first business, The Thriven Mom, named after a motto I used to define my newfound worth and identity in which I work with women to lead healthier lifestyles and value the importance of using premium nutrition on their journey.  As I fell more in love with the importance of a healthy lifestyle, I delve more into fitness and noticed the gap in active wear that was attractive and supported women who were top heavy. As such, I expanded my business ventures to include  a fitness line to provide curvy and top heavy women with options that made them look & feel good while embarking on their wellness journey.

After helping 100s of women begin to prioritize their health and sharing my own personal and transformative journey, God led me to create space for women to heal. In 2020, I launched my first Bible Study and established my private healing group Healing Her Way, formerly known as F2: Healing through Faith & Fitness,  an exclusive community where women from across all walks of life gather to focus on the overall wellness of the mind, body, and spirit.  In this community, I  focus on healing through weekly Bible Study, prayer, and fitness.

Currently, I enjoy traveling to spread the gospel and share my testimony to empower, uplift, and heal women through faith, fitness, and finance.  Supporting women as they journey through womanhood and wholeness by providing a safe community for women to unmask and take off their superwomen cape while continuing to secure the bag for themselves and/or families.

I am a mama on a mission determined to empower other women to unmask unattended trauma so they can thrive in their everyday lives as H.E.R. - Healed, Empowered, Renewed.
